WATERTOWN — The Watertown Council on Aging heard that the Senior Center's health fair, once discussed for this fall, will instead happen in spring 2027. Staff presenter Lydia cited gym space constraints and a busy fall calendar, while member Russ called the fair "a complete success from the beginning." The board also learned longtime staffer Sherry has been promoted to assistant director for senior services and will soon leave for maternity leave with her third child. A new building committee has formed for a future senior center but has not yet met; member Phyllis Peroni is serving on it.

The board discussed expanding its youth snow-removal program, which served 24 seniors last winter with only 11 volunteers against roughly 30 requests, and confirmed residents with disabilities can seek sidewalk-shoveling waivers through 311.
