WATERTOWN — The Watertown Environment and Energy Efficiency Committee agreed to comprehensively track environmental ordinances under review and discussed pending ordinances including Skip the Stuff, a proposal to reduce single-use restaurant items, scheduled for City Council vote Tuesday at 7 PM with public comment. Co-chairs Ellen Menounos and Wally Cole are developing committee protocol by July 1.
Sustainability Manager Laurel Schaider reported a heat pump coaching program launching with EMPOWER grant funding and near completion of a multi-family electric vehicle charging study.
