Watertown's Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Committee approved its Rules and Regulations and created a Secretary position. The committee appointed member Lise Paul to the role and formalized the Recycling Manager as a staff liaison to the committee. The committee also discussed the Solid Waste Ordinance, currently under review by the Assistant City Manager, which aims to reduce city waste tonnage by mandating all residential premises participate in either the city's solid waste program or arrange private trash, recycling and composting services.
