Watertown Sales Data Shows Wide Price Range, Heavy Share of Family Trust Transfers
Watertown recorded 13 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only six deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $490,000 to $1,050,000 with a median of $727,500. The month's top sale was a unit at 24 Otis Street for $1,050,000, sold by Christina Whitbeck to Lisa Laplante. Seven of the 13 transfers, more than half, moved property into family or revocable trusts rather than to outside buyers, and none of those seven carried a disclosed price. No street recorded more than one sale, and eight of the 13 properties were condominium units.
