WATERTOWN — The Watertown Library Board of Library Trustees unanimously approved year-end budget transfers and bridge funding. The trustees approved Director Long's request to transfer $10,000 from Part-Time Salaries to Overtime, with $3,200 total moving to Staff Development from various sources to cover professional development program reimbursements, the upcoming MLA conference, and a May professional development day. The board allocated $2,225 from the Barry Trust Fund to enable materials ordering during the fiscal year transition, avoiding delays in receiving popular releases.
Trustees also authorized board treasurer Kokoros to approve future line-item transfers through fiscal 2026 and authorized allocation of FY2027 Burke Funds upon receipt.
