Human Rights Commission · Meeting of March 9, 2026

WATERTOWN — The Human Rights Commission Logo Committee reviewed three finalists from a student design contest and agreed to present all three to the full Commission for final selection. Members Susan Musinsky, Lisa LaPlante, and Liz Aeschlimann, along with staff liaison Doug Newton, reviewed Logo 4, Logo 6, and Logo 9. The Committee discussed potential edits to the designs, which could include working with the student, a professional artist, or artificial intelligence.

The Committee agreed to bring each finalist back to the full Commission at its next meeting to ensure each Commissioner could offer input. The Committee also discussed holding an event to recognize the final selection and all contest submissions.
