Watertown Historical Commission cleared two demolition applications without requiring a public hearing.

Historical Commission Preliminary Review · Meeting of February 23, 2026

Watertown Historical Commission cleared two demolition applications without requiring a public hearing. Chair Elise Loukas and Commission Member Andrew Thompson conducted preliminary reviews of 26 Keith Street and 108 Water Street under the Demolition Delay Ordinance, determining neither building was historically significant enough to warrant a full Commission hearing. The 108 Water Street review was continued from a February 9 meeting.

Both demolition applications may proceed.
